We like to think we are held in high esteem by our customers, many of whom have used our services time and time again and become, over the years, good friends.

We strongly believe in ‘old-fashioned’ values such as loyalty, integrity and honesty and we think our customers appreciate this.  But don’t take our word for it – here are some of the things they’ve said about us.

Tour Managers

We were very pleased with the organisation and planning of our Tour to Australia in 2011. It was a great trip. Mike and Peter were very thorough and professional and always helpful, so I would have no problems recommending Intoursport World Travel to other schools and clubs for their tours. We will be using them again for more tours, which says everything.
Chris Wilkins – Director of Rugby, Whitgift School

I have used Mike Williams at Intoursport for my last eight tours, five of those being major tours to South America, New Zealand, Australia and Fiji twice and South Africa. In all instances the personal service we received was second to none.

Mike Pyrgos – Master i/c Rugby, Bryanston School

The venues for the rugby matches were perfect and although we had an exceptionally strong side this year the matches allowed us to develop the new style and new approach that we have adopted as part of our rugby development programme in the school.

Finally I would like to thank you once again most sincerely for the superb organisation of the tour and for the carefully planned itinerary which ensured that all of us who travelled had a most memorable experience.
Kevin Jennings – Deputy Head, Catholic University School, Dublin

Tour with Intoursport because you can trust and feel secure in the fact that when you turn up at destination things have been set in place for you. People are waiting at the right spot at the right time, sometimes as if by magic, assistance will appear!
Ian Higson, Director of Sport, Queen Elizabeth School, Kirkby Lonsdale

The whole Tour Manager’s Pack was quite simply the best set of information I had ever seen, written by someone who clearly knew what he was talking about.
Rick Sellers, Director of Sport, Bristol Grammar School.

Thanks for your copy of Intoursport’s ‘Early Brief’.  It looks very comprehensive and is certainly more detailed and useful than anything we have received for previous tours (by other operators).
Alan Reid, Director of Sport, Reigate Grammar School

I knew I wanted to take the girls on a sports tour but had never organised such a trip before. I met Mike Williams at an ISPEC conference and was really inspired about what Intoursport World Travel could offer us. The flexibility to be creative and design exactly what you want was a massive selling point. We wanted to ensure the pupils had both a sports and a cultural educational tour and Mike was able to organise a visit to a local charity orphanage which we had fundraised for. As a new tour manager I was impressed with the support and encouragement Mike gave me in every area of the organisation process. The support materials available were an excellence point of reference.
Sam Beveridge, Head of Sport, Hartismere High School, Suffolk

Your experience in specialist sports travel is unique.  This was apparent when you organised Harlequins European Cup travel in 2000.  The itinerary, accommodation and facilities were excellent.  Plainly your experience of taking school teams on tour has made you an expert on the needs and requirements of touring parties.
John Gallagher, Colfe’s School, Director of Rugby Harlequins 2000, All Black World Cup winner 1987

Thanks for all you help on this our 4th UK tour.  These tours are successful because you do such a great job organising them.
Mike Hitchens, Ryan College, Townsville, Australia

When I first experienced your organisation, I think it was the personal touch you gave to a tour that I appreciated most; how you let me fit in the bits that we wanted to do, and how you allowed me to work alongside you to contribute to the tour itinerary when the tour was in its final stages. Everything seemed to run smoothly and it was a credit to your careful planning and attention to detail that made this happen.
Graeme Turner, Master i/c Rugby, Mill Hill School

In the summer of 2011 we will be once again travelling to the East Coast of Australia for our third Netball and Hockey Sports Tours, touring with Intoursport. Our two previous tours with them were hugely successful and indeed provided our students with a truly once in a lifetime opportunity. For many of our students, this tour was the highlight of their seven year career at school.  Every aspect of  the tour was just what we wanted and Intoursport certainly ensured that they delivered on all of their promises.

Intoursport have been our chosen tour organiser on all three of our sports tour and I can only say that I would recommend them whole heartedly and without hesitation. The reason – because they are a tour Organiser not an Operator, there is a huge difference. The tour from start to finish is tailor made to our own specific requirements, not one of our three tours has been the same as each time the group dynamics, ability of the group and hence group needs have differed. Intoursport have taken all of this into account and delivered a tour that meets every one of our requirements. They are able to meet the specific needs time and time again. They are totally committed to ensuring that our needs are met and we work in collaboration from start to finish.

The schools that we play in Australia are superb, they have fantastic facilities and Intoursport will ensure that the standard is comparable to your needs. The schools are extremely accommodating and this is because Intoursport have developed such close relations with the staff by visiting them in person and discussing the intricacies of the tour.

Intoursport is a company that is personable and attends to your every need, they have many years experience and are totally professional in all they do. They are also a delightful team to work with and I would say that any school would be extremely fortunate and would never regret their decision to tour with them.
Claire Priestley, Head of Department, Beaconsfield High School

I was much happier with the content of Mike Williams’ presentation.  He certainly knows more about tours then the previous speakers we have had.
Alisdair Tait, Parent at Barnard Castle School

Now I have heard how Intoursport will organise the school’s tour, I am considerably more confident about the project than I was after hearing the previous company’s presentation.  All matters that concern a parent have been covered. I am delighted to hear that sport and the children’s welfare are at the centre of the tour’s organisation.
Mandy Barbery, whose son was in Newquay Tretherras School’s South African Tour party

I toured Australia on Mike Williams’ pioneering Sevenoaks School 1st XV tour in 1976 and was so inspired by the experience that, when I later became Master i/c Rugby at Stamford School, I asked Mike to organise our first overseas tour – to Portugal.  It was such a success that the school has used Intoursport ever since for tours including Australia and South Africa.  Our South Africa record was four wins from six matches.  I know how many schools who have returned from South Africa humiliated having been physically overrun in fixtures that could only be described as mismatches.  Mike Williams went out of his way to ensure this did not happen to us.
Chris Alcock – former Master i/c Rugby at Stamford School, now Headmaster Queen’s College, Taunton
